Another Week Gone

And might I say that I hope I'm not the only one that's glad about it being over...

I got an extra Elephant Crapload of stuff to do, that was quite a bit behind schedule. Glad it's over and all is good now. Now I must just pass it off to the right people to continue my good work...


In Between this I still had to tent to the poor users and give them their bottle every now and then. How's that for fun.

At least it's all done and over now, with plenty of time to spare, and for me to be able to enjoy my off day tomorrow, before we have to face the users again in the next week...

Anyways, to all my fellow BOFH's and BCFH's and so on, Have a good One, I'm off!

So You Wonder, what am I going on about this time? This is pictures of the Power connectors from Two identical Power supplies for two Identical Laptops, bought the same day. The Only difference was the users...Can you see where this is going?

New Family

So it's the Missus's Birthday coming Sunday and I decided to go big this year. She's been nagging me for a kitten or a something for quite a long time, and I finally decided to get her said kitten.

We went and got all the neccesary goodies, and obviously the kitten. Now he's at work with us, and sleeping next to me while I'm working. Lying happily on his little blankey.

After Tired Comes...

My previous Boss had a saying, After Tired Comes Stupid, and at this moment I'm pretty much at that place. I have been coding a little php-cli script to backup some MySQL Data offsite. I have been up most of the hours these last 3/4 days, and I'm starting to feel it now.

 

I'm missing something elementary in 'n piece of code, and I'm unable to find it, so I'm just gonna wait until I'm not relying on caffeine to keep my eyes open. My brain's fried, so I'm just gonna make tonight an early one…

Busy as hell..

Ok, I don't think I've got that kind of traffic going yet, but it feels as if I'm close enough.

 

Quickly went to the Electronics Dump Site this morning, to chuck away about half a ton of rubbish, just sitting in store rooms collecting dust…Lucky for me there were two minions that I can/could boss around. This made my life much better, but still very busy. It's funny how you can be busy, but the moment you get someone to help you, you get twice as busy, with half the productivity rate.

 

No matter that, I'm still happy that they're here, as I can put them on to do things like clean the workshop, sort the rubbish from the junk, and suchforth. That makes my life all the much better…

 

Hope you guys are having a good time and a good week. It's just week before my camping trip, and I'm counting down the days…
